Final Performance Evaluation

I have confidence in that my group choreographic piece went well and was successful because we presented the movement with passion and clear dynamics. I could clearly see the contrast in dynamics as the smooth moments had a strong change in the sharper and more precise movements. To add we all moved very well in unison and the duet between Eabha and I was performed in a strong manner which contained a lot of clarity for the story line as I have observed the video of the performance. This specific duet seemed to hold the theme of the piece very well, however in comparison to this section I would’ve liked to see more intention with the other sections. Something I would’ve changed to the unison sections that didn’t hold a great amount of purpose is, using physical contact and becoming a unit like how the brain and the body is all connected and working together to function.

(Pilgrim.O, 2022) Overall I trust that we performed our piece very well with a good deal of intention and purpose, however as previously stated I would look at the choreography more carefully when I create my solo in Level 6 because it’ so vital for the audience to understand what is occurring from each step and stage of the piece.
